Balabuyit Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") operates the Balabuyit real estate platform (website and mobile app). We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law 5741-1981 and its regulations. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data: name, email address, phone number, and password (hashed).
• Identity verification: government-issued ID or passport number for bidder registration (stored securely, never shared publicly).
• Listing data: property details, photos, location, and pricing that you submit.
• Transaction data: bid history and purchases. Card numbers are never stored — payments are handled by PCI-compliant payment processors.
• Usage data: pages visited, search queries, device type, IP address, and session duration.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve the Platform.
• To verify your identity before allowing auction participation.
• To process bids and transactions and send confirmations and alerts.
• To comply with Israeli legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering requirements.
• To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To send marketing communications — only with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with payment processors, identity verification providers, cloud infrastructure providers, Israeli government authorities when legally required, and the counterparty in a completed property transaction.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data for the duration of your account and for 7 years afterward as required by Israeli tax and financial recordkeeping laws. You may request deletion of non-legally-required data at any time.
